Priority Pass
Make the most of your park’s popularity with Priority Passes for your guests’ favourite rides
Nobody goes to a theme park to stand in line! In this guide, learn about what Priority Passes are, how to add them to your park and why they are useful for boosting your park’s finances.
Setting Up Priority Passes
Priority Passes are a ticketing option you can implement in your theme parks in Planet Coaster 2.
You can add a Priority Pass to any of the rides in your park, including coasters, flat rides and tracked rides. Guests can then purchase Priority Passes at Guest Services.
How-To Add a Priority Pass
Give guests the option to jump to the front of the queue by paying a bit extra for a Priority Pass.
- Select the ride you want to add a Priority Pass to.
- Navigate to the Finances section of the ride info-panel. Under the Ticket section you'll find the Priority Pass section.
- Enable Priority Passes.
From the ride info-panel you will be able to check on the Priority Pass queue time and decide the frequency of how often Priority Pass holders are let onto rides before standard guests.
How-To Make a Priority Queue
Once you’ve set up a Priority Pass, you’ll need to place a priority queue for your pass-holding guests.
- In a rides info-panel, select Place Priority Entrance to build a separate entrance for pass holders.
- Once you have placed a queue entrance, select Place Priority Queue and use the path building tool to build a queue lane for pass holders.
- Now all you need to do is open your ride and watch your guests line up!
Boosting Your Finances
Priority Passes are a great way to increase the profit on your most popular rides! Once you’ve built an established theme park, guests will show you which rides they enjoy the most.
You can make the most of this popularity by adding Priority Passes; but you’ll have to be sensible with your pricing. Some guests won’t want to pay more for a Priority Pass if they’ve already paid a lot to enter your park.
How-To Adjust Priority Pass Prices
- Open the Park Management menu and navigate to the Park Options section.
- You can also navigate to the pricing menu via the Guest Services info-panel.
- Choose between setting passes at Custom and Full Price.
- If you choose Custom pricing, you can adjust the amount in the price section.
